Costs

The monthly sum payable by parents in 2008/09 amounted to € 1155.
The sum is due twelve times a year (August 1st to July 31st, regardless of state summer vacation dates).
There are separate payment modalities for students whose parents live abroad.

Boarding charges do not fully cover actual costs. Additional funding is provided by the Evangelical Church of the Palatinate.

The basic charge includes:

accommodation and meals, approximately 30 school lessons per week, supervision during study hours, extra-curricular activities, access to sports facilities, medical services, night-time supervision, regular cleaning of rooms, parental guidance, transport to and from the railway station on week-end departure and arrival, car-parking on school property, internet access in all boarding houses.

not included:

entrance prices (to cinema, theatre etc.), ambulance services, transport outside Annweiler on extra-curricular activities, costs for voluntary week-end projects, private tuition.

registration fee:

A registration fee of €200 is payable on admission to the boarding school.

bonus system:

boarding charges are reduced as follows for long-term students
     - in the second year by 10%
     - in the third year by 20%
     - in the fourth year by 25%
     - in the fifth year by 30%
The bonus is calculated on the basis of current boarding charges and is valid for complete school years only.

trial period in the boarding school €70 per day
private tuition, tuition in German as a foreign language €23,50 per 60 mins.
